I coach endurance athletes who are balancing demanding careers, family life, and big goals. For 25 years, I worked in management for homebuilders—long hours, high pressure, constant deadlines. I'm also a father of two, so I understand firsthand what it means to train when time, energy, and recovery are limited.
I’ve been running for 22 years and have completed numerous marathons and ultramarathons, including eight 100-mile finishes. I’ve also experienced a DNF at 100 miles. That combination matters. I don’t just coach from success—I coach from experience, problem-solving, and learning how to adapt when things don’t go perfectly.
Training built for busy professionals:
My coaching isn’t a cookie-cutter plan pulled from a spreadsheet. It’s thoughtful, adaptable coaching designed to help driven athletes train intelligently, perform confidently, and still show up fully for their lives outside of running.

You have big goals. You also have a career, family, responsibilities, and a life outside of training. Yanasi Endurance is built for athletes who refuse to choose between pursuing ambitious endurance goals and everything else that matters.

You have big goals. You also have a career, family, responsibilities, and a life outside of training. Yanasi Endurance is built for athletes who refuse to choose between pursuing ambitious endurance goals and everything else that matters.
You want to train hard and chase big goals, but your time and energy aren't unlimited. Work gets demanding. Family comes first. Travel happens. You don't need a training plan that falls apart when life gets complicated—you need coaching that adapts with you.
We focus on purpose-driven training that makes the most of the time you actually have.
Maybe you've run marathons and you're thinking about your first 50K. Maybe you've finished a few ultras and that 100-miler is starting to look possible.
Going farther requires more than adding miles. You need to understand pacing, climbing, fueling, strength, recovery, gear, race strategy, and how to keep moving when things get difficult.
I'll prepare you for the entire race—not just the starting line.
You know how to run. What you're missing is confidence that you're doing the right training at the right time.
Maybe you've plateaued. Maybe inconsistency keeps creeping in. Maybe you're constantly wondering whether you're doing too much or not enough.
Instead of piecing together workouts, online plans, podcasts, and advice from social media, you'll have a plan built specifically around your goals, your schedule, and your life.
My coaching isn't about fitting your life around a training plan.
It's about building the right training around your life, so you can show up prepared, durable, confident, and ready to acomplish something big.

Yanasi athletes aren't professional runners. They're professionals, parents, entrepreneurs, and people with demanding lives who still want to see what they're capable of.

Fortune 500 Regional President → Leadville Heavy Half Finisher
Leading at the executive level doesn't leave a lot of extra time for training. With a demanding career and a packed schedule, this athlete needed training that was focused, efficient, and flexible.
We built his training around the time he actually had—not the time a generic training plan assumed he had.
The result: He started the race prepared and confident and crossed the finish line of the Leadville Heavy Half.
Physician. Parent of Two. Leadville 100 Finisher.
Training for 100 miles is challenging enough. Training while practicing medicine and raising two young children requires an entirely different approach.
Instead of allowing training to take over her life, we focused on consistency, purposeful workouts, durability, and making the available training time count.
The result: 100 miles through the Colorado Rockies and a Leadville 100 finish.
Interested in Running → Pikes Peak Marathon Elite Bib
When we started working together, he wasn't an experienced competitive runner. He was simply interested in running and wanted to see where it could take him.
We didn't chase shortcuts or rush the process. We focused on consistency, progressive training, strength, durability, and developing him as an athlete one step at a time.
Sixteen months later, he earned an elite bib for the Pikes Peak Marathon.
That's what consistent training can do. You don't have to know how far you're capable of going when you start. Sometimes you just have to start.
Different careers. Different lives. Different starting points.
The common thread is a willingness to chase something bigger and a training plan designed to make that pursuit work in the real world.
You bring the goal. We'll build the path to get there.
